A sketch of the words 'Grady Drugg' in bubbled, retro-looking olive green lettering with a pale orange outline. The words are sandwiched by mirrored sketches of blue-tinted doves, each with a beady dark blue eye.

Grady Drugg is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and hired gun.

This is a cut-out photo of Grady Drugg sitting on a rattan chair and holding a sunburst-colored guitar. They are wearing a brown and gold trucker hat, golden wire-rim sunglasses, a black graphic t-shirt, black jeans, and black cowboy boots.

Grady Philip Drugg began writing music as a teenager, forming several short-lived bands while attending high school in the rolling hills of Canyon Lake, Texas. Like many other recent high school graduates of the time, Grady decided to skip town and join a Midwest-based fourth wave emo band.

Grammer (that band) would eventually record the Awesome Knifes EP in 2014, with Grady pulling double-duty on bass and sound engineering. The band toured the much-loved record across the South and Midwest for two years before permanently disbanding.

Shortly after Grammer called it quits, Drugg started post-rock project Importer/Exporter with former bandmate Dakota Jones. The band released a handful of shortplays and toured their sole full-length record, Breathing Techniques, extensively across the United States and Canada. The band is currently on hiatus as of 2018. In the years since, Drugg has maintained laser focus on their developing their skills as a hired gun, touring and recording with artists (and dear friends) such as folk singer-songwriter Willi Carlisle, Arkansas-based crooner Dylan Earl, Seattle lullaby rock outfit Ings, and Springfield darlings Dreamgirl.

Aside from touring and recording out on the road, Grady works tirelessly as the sole recording engineer in their homegrown studio. They've produced and recorded an impressive, wide-ranging number of local and regional projects over the past few years. They also teach guitar lessons in their spare time.

As if this laundry list of tour schedules, recording credits, and foray into music production was not impressive enough, Drugg has also released three full-length solo records: Grady Philip Drugg in 2016, Art is Supposed to be Fun! in 2017, and Real Life in 2020, all of which they've toured across the lower 48.
